There is nothing more rewarding than creating wonderful pots of sweet jams, jellies and curds or spicy and tangy jars of chutneys and pickles. You can tell autumn has arrived in our house when the preserving pan appears on the stove with a myriad of sparkling empty jars waiting to be filled.
